How is Coaching Different From Counseling or Therapy?

As an Anxiety Coach, I emphasize learning gains, skill-building, and transformation. You will be taught WHY your brain worries and HOW to retrain it. Your improved performance should be recognizable in yourself and by those who know you best. 


When deciding between a counselor, therapist, psychologist or coach; ask specific questions on their anxiety education and approach, what tools they can offer you, how quickly you will benefit from their services, and how they measure progress. Specialized anxiety training is rare to find across providers. 


Are You Private Pay?

Yes, much like hiring a private baseball coach, math tutor, or personal trainer; our $65 hourly sessions are paid by clients seeking a qualified professional to train them in the targeted area of anxiety. 

How Much is Coaching? What Type of Sessions Do You Offer?

Private Session: Pricing is competitive at $65 for a 60-minute 1:1 session. This rate stays the same for couples or families who want to attend sessions together, which is best practice as anxiety requires family solutions.  


Group Session: Should you have a small group in mind, an affordable group rate can be split among those participating. 


In general, clients report that one session illuminated a new way of thinking about anxiety. After their first session, most report a reduction of symptoms when applying the knowledge and strategies to their lives. I typically recommend 6-8 weekly or bimonthly sessions to maintain new thought patterns. From there, I typically reduce to 1 session every 2-3 months.
